Jonathon Wise Polier | j-polier@paris-law.com
Jonathon Wise Polier practices in Paris and is of counsel to Wolfson Carroll & Shapiro. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, international contract negotiations, commercial litigation and arbitration, and matrimonial law.
Prior to moving to Paris, Mr. Polier was Vice-President and General Counsel of Group W Cable in New York, a Westinghouse Electric Corporation affiliate which was sold in 1987 for $1.7 billion. Prior to that time, Mr. Polier was the Vice-President and General Counsel of Tribune Cable Corporation after filling the same position at Ansor Corporation, a multi-national conglomerate with activities in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Spain, France and England. Mr. Polier began his career in 1970 at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York where he was an associate responsible for national and multinational corporate matters, including corporate finance.
Mr. Polier is a graduate of Oberlin College, received a M.A. from University of California at Berkeley, a Ph.D. with honors by the Institute d’Etudes Politiques, and Columbia Law School where he was a Harlan Fisk Stone Scholar. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
