Michael Wolfson is the managing partner of Wolfson Carroll & Shapiro with more than 40 years of experience in both transactional law and litigation.

Mr. Wolfson focuses on litigation, corporate and real estate transactions, estate administration and contested estate matters. His keen understanding of human nature often enables him to reach favorable outcomes for his clients without resorting to litigation.

Mr. Wolfson graduated from Cornell Law School and Brooklyn College. He is a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers' Association.

John Carroll concentrates on corporate governance and complex litigation.

Mr. Carroll also handles transactional matters in real estate, franchising, business acquisitions and divestitures, information technology, insurance, media and telecommunications, and with financial institutions. In addition, he is a renowned election law specialist.

Mr. Carroll also counsels clients on a broad range of corporate and business-related matters, including directors’ duties and responsibilities, disclosure issues, corporate compliance and entity formation. He often provides advice to boards of directors in crisis situations in which fiduciary duties are subject to scrutiny.

Mr. Carroll is a graduate of Columbia Law School and St. Peter's College. He is a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers' Association.

Corey M. Shapiro | cmshapiro@wolfsoncarroll.com

Corey Shapiro specializes in family and matrimonial law. He has successfully negotiated and litigated a wide range of complex and often acrimonious marital disputes, including pre and post nuptial agreements, child and spousal support cases, custody and relocation, visitation, support and equitable distribution involving valuations of businesses and intangible assets such as licenses and degrees. Mr. Shapiro strives to work through the underlying causes of difficult issues in an effort to resolve matters in a satisfactory manner.

Mr. Shapiro is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and the University of Redlands. Mr. Shapiro is a member of the matrimonial committees of the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers' Association. He frequently lectures on matrimonial and family law issues.
